Single-Day Volunteer Opportunities

Middle Book Fair Woodland Middle We are looking for volunteers during the daytime the week of 4/24. Even if you can only do part of a slot, please consider helping out. We need volunteers to help run registers and assist students while they shop during the school day. |

Bingo Night Woodland Intermediate While no spots may be left to play, there are multiple volunteer opportunities available! Join us and you can run games, help setup or cleanup. |
📅 May 2nd - 4th
Elementary Book Fair Woodland Elementary We are looking for volunteers during the evenings 5/2-5/4. The book fair will be open during the Elementary Family Night. Parents and students can shop during the event. We need volunteers to help run registers and assist families while they shop. |

Elementary Open House Woodland Elementary The PTA will be hosting a table selling spirit wear and memberships during the evening event. |

Even if you can only do part of a slot, please consider helping out. We need volunteers to help run registers and assist students while they shop during the school day. |

Vice President
This is a year-round board position with a two year term. The position would officially start in July 2023. The PTA Vice President is responsible to act as an aide to the president. The Vice President should perform the duties of the president in their absence or if they are unable to serve. Job duties include but are not limited to: attending weekly board meetings, attending monthly general PTA meetings, attending PTA events, coordinating and/or creating e-blasts, social media posts, and communications with school administration. The time commitment is slightly higher as the start of the school year approaches as there may be events that require PTA board member attendance, such as welcome back events and curriculum nights. All PTA board members also meet in the summer to help prepare the budget and calendar for the upcoming school year. TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.

Co-Chair Volunteer Opportunities
ROAR Run Co-Chairs
The ROAR Run is a fun, family-friendly event that features a teacher and staff relay, a 1 mile run, and a 5K race. We are looking for 3-5 co-chairs to help plan and run this event. Co-chair responsibilities include but are not limited to: working together to reserve necessary venues, secure sponsors, design and distribute participant t-shirts, book all necessary outside vendors, coordinate all aspects of the race day, manage and recruit registration, manage and recruit race day volunteers. Experience running a similar event is helpful but not required. Assistance from the PTA board and training will be provided. Planning for this event begins in Spring 2023 and the event will take place in early fall 2023.
