Holiday Shop is almost here!

( and during the day for Intermediate students)

Holiday Shop will be open to ALL Woodland students and their families at the Intermediate School (1115 N. Hunt Club Rd, Gurnee, IL) this week!

4 reasons your child should attend holiday shop:

1. This is a great opportunity to teach them about giving. Who is on their shopping list? Family, friends, teachers, maybe even pets? Whoever is on their list, there are a variety of products for everyone! 
2. It's a time for them to learn about budgeting. Our volunteers will help your child select and wrap the perfect holiday gifts within their budget. Gifts will range from $.50 to $15. 
3. Students also love taking ownership of their gift choices. The best quote heard from a former shopper, "I got Grandma ducky erasers because I knew she probably makes a lot of mistakes at work! "
4. AND, lastly, this is a fundraiser so proceeds will directly benefit your child's experiences at Woodland.

Besides shopping, there will be fun family activities like a cake walk and an ornament making station.

Pizza, water and treats will be available for sale by the Wildcat Music Boosters (supporting your band and choir programs). 

Intermediate students only (grades 4-5) will be given the opportunity to
shop during the school day on both days. If you choose to send a check with your child, please make sure it is made out to "Woodland PTA."
